Annette B was a three time award winning secular reggae artist best known for her melodic Lovers Rock style of singing. She recorded her debut single at the tender age of 15 with Philip Gadd New Talent Records, she had hit singles released with various top UK based reggae recording labels such as UK Bubblers (Greensleeves), Arwia and Charms Records (Jet Starr), Charms Records also released her debut album called Suggestive Movements. The ever loved Fairy Godmother and I Found Love are some of her music still played today. Annette B has had live coverage on Children In Need; she won the Black Music Awards for best female reggae singer for three consecutive years.

Upon hearing Annette B's melodic voice, the late legendary pioneer of reggae music Sir "Clement Dodd" aka Coxsone, who produced and launched Bob Marley's career invited Annette B to America to record an album on the Studio One Label, Annette took the opportunity and went and recorded the album. However on her return to the UK, something was pressing on Annette's heart not to sign the contract and at that point she decided not to pursue the opportunity. The feeling did not go away and after a performance in the UK Annette decided to put the microphone down and refused to sing altogether. That pressing feeling on Annette's heart was God calling, despite all the excitement of her successful musical career she still had a void in her life and that was CHRIST. Annette gave her heart to the Lord in 2001 and is now a born again christian, however she did not pick up the microphone until somewhat 5 years later. Now Annette is on a mission to step out and deliver God's word, sow seeds and minister to the same people who use to listen to her Lovers Rock music. She has given her Lovers Rock songs to God and is now a Lover Of The Rock.

Annette B has her debut gospel album coming out on 13 April 2013 called When I Wake Up.
